"I am filled with appreciation for the opportunity to join my own Jewish community. Queen Esther’s story celebrated during Purim recounts the courage and heroism of a Jewish woman who saves her people from destruction in ancient Persia. As I learned about Esther’s bravery in revealing her Jewish identity to her king/husband, I couldn’t help feeling to some degree of what she was feeling. In today’s climate, now more than ever I feel the need to stand up against anti-Semitism and affirm my commitment to Judaism as my spiritual home and embark on a lifelong journey for deeper meaning, connection, and purpose."

Michele Rose is a spectacular human being who is continuing with her Jewish education. She has joined our Rosh Chodesh, Calendar, and Sound Bath monthly online Sunday class. She plans to resume her Jewish studies in the fall and work towards an adult bat mitzvah! We can all draw so much inspiration from her, especially during this challenging time.
